Characterized by its thick and beautifully shaded leaves, the Rubber Plant is perfect for indoor areas with bright light. It is commonly known as the Rubber Tree, India Rubber Tree, Indian Rubber Bush or Ficus decora, It grows well in Indian climate and makes an excellent addition to any space.
Give your Rubber Plant a well lit spot with some indirect sun if possible. In poorly lit conditions the plant will become lanky and spindly.
For variegated plants one must provide bright indirect light, otherwise you'll lose the markings.
Every 7-10 days, water your plant really well once the soil surface and top inch has dried out. Wait until it dries out in the same way before watering again. About 30 minutes after watering, empty the collection plate, since Rubber Plants do not enjoy sitting in water.
